AMD's new cpu, Phenom II 655 X4 Black Edition, is now clocked at a staggering 3.4 gigahertz. But, even with this new clock, Intel's core i7 920 is still out performing it even though the core i7 is clocked at 2.33 gigahertz. It goes to show you that even though a cpu is clocked higher, that doesn't mean it is faster.
